For four months painting has been on haiatus to allow for time to focus on other business and work hard on writing as an important creative skill for me.

The coronavirus continues to push “normal” into the future, and to make the best of it I am learning, and building new income sources, all to prepare for a restructure of the painting studio later this year, contingent on a more detailed vision and a business plan.

I’m sorry if online updates are sparce until late in the year. There will be some updates here and on instagram and I encourage any curious people to say hello.

Priorities for the website in 2021:

  1. update artwork photography that goes in the catalogue and do a rework to improve the user experience

  2. refine the “portfolio-oriented” design of project pages and increase information on the site for those who need it

  3. add a new subsection within the catalogue for low-cost paintings/prints/drawings/other

As was suggested in earlier updates, the catalogue section is still unfinshed. I recently set a new deadline for the catalogue rework and I will post an update as soon as possible.

There are also new projects that I will strive to add to the site before January. And lastly, with changes to my schedule on the horizon I’ve decided to resume instagram activity starting on October 5th.

The studio was relocated in June which has delayed many paintings in-progress and my original plans for website improvements in June and July.

The catalogue page will now be reworked as late as September and in the meantime I’m finishing the first artworks from my new location in Manhattan.

As of last month the hompage and associated project pages are all finished! Thank you to the people who have read these pages and given feedback.

The catalogue will be updated and redesigned in June. After that are finishing touches, including improvements for mobile devices, and new additions to projects will come soon after.
